‘Yoga in the Parks’

The ‘Yoga in the Parks’ program started in Detroit city of Michigan in the United States.

The Detroit Parks Coalition (DPC) recently launched ‘Yoga in the Parks’ with a new schedule in 2023 in partnership with Yoganic Flow.

This 60-minute outdoor yoga class is free for all ages in the community

The program, which began on June 3, is being held at five Detroit parks and green spaces until September 2.

The ‘Yoga in the Parks’ program is supported by a grant from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

‘Our free community yoga classes are a great way to experience the beauty and health benefits of Detroit’s parks,’ said Sigal Hemi, executive director of the DPC.

Participation in the ‘Yoga in the Parks’ program requires registration through Yoganic Flow’s website, yoganicflow.com. For more information, visit detroitparkscoalition.com/community-yoga.

Yogic Flow has been hosting participatory yoga classes for everyone in the Detroit community since 2014.
