National Memorial to remain closed for visitors till March 25

On the occasion of Independence Day, the National Memorial in Bangladesh’s Savar will remain closed for visitors to clean up its premises.

The Public Works Department of the National Memorial told it to the media on Saturday (March 11).

It also said the President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh will pay tribute to the National Memorial in the first hour of Independence Day. The main gate of the National Memorial will then be opened to the public. Apart from this, domestic and foreign diplomats will pay their respects at the National Memorial.

Due to this, cleaning work will be done in the National Memorial premises from March 12 to March 25. Everyone will be able to enter as usual from Independence Day on March 26.
