California wildfires intensified
A terrible wildfire has spread in California of the United States. This resulted in the displacement of millions of Americans.
According to a report by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, 17 helicopters and more than 2,000 firefighters have been deployed to extinguish the fire that recently broke out near Yosemite National Park in California.
The fire has consumed more than 14,200 acres in less than two days and threatened thousands of homes.
Temperatures in the area increased to 105-110 degrees Fahrenheit (40.5-43.3 Celsius).
A weather emergency has been implemented from Boston through Philadelphia to Washington.
Cooling stations for the homeless have been introduced in all these cities.
